WEAR Sustain projects investment pitch at ICT2018

Ten WEAR Sustain funded projects will receive the opportunity on the 5th December, at the ICT2018 conference, Vienna, to pitch their projects to a selection of corporate partners and investors.
The objective of the proposed session is to demonstrate the potential for arts and technology collaboration to create commercially viable, sustainable and ethical wearables products and to help teams take their projects to market. Some of the best performing WEAR teams will capitalise on their success so far, by pitching to and networking with potential corporate partners, investors and business angels that are either expected to attend ICT 2018 or who have been specially invited to the session.
The 10 most advanced projects from WEAR Sustain’s Open Calls 1 and 2, that are closest to market, will pitch in front of a 5-7 member jury (invited by the WEAR Sustain consortium). Each team will have 3 minutes for their pitch, followed by 2 minutes of questions and answers by the jury. Potential corporate partners, investors and business angels who will attend the session will also have a chance to ask questions during the Q&A session of each team and afterwards during the open networking.
All 46 WEAR sustain teams have been invited to attend the special ICT 2018 demonstration and networking session.
